I am always, always in tears when we get a letter from the biological mother of my Vietnamese daughter Maia Dinh Thi Phuong.
Really, I do have a bound with this mother of my first child!
I am touched by the pictures: she looks so good like her mother, my sweet eldest child! It convinces me again that one can never ever deny the background and roots of your adopted child.
Fleur, this is so BEAUTIFUL and touching. I agree and you are a wonderful and kind person to connect them both openly. well done too for raising your daughter up well.
ReplyDeleteInderdaad, heel mooi dat jullie op één of andere manier contact kunnen houden... O zo belangrijk ook!
ReplyDeleteYou are doing a great service to your daughter by giving her the chance to know where she comes from. She will always know she belongs to you, because you were brave enough to let her see her roots!
ReplyDeleteIt must be hard for Maia and confusing? But you can give her a better future which I'm sure she appreciate!
