Well, I think my creative drifts will slow down this week, my fabulous four are all at home now, the Rollebolle Playground is closed this week. They had such a wonderfull time there,

Mies (with Downsyndrome) was integrated so good. I appreciate so much the way they coped with her handicap, can't express how thankfull I am...

But here I am, playing knight with the youngest, painting with Mies, cooking lunch, doing a hug pile of ironing, and gathering the tennisballs Maia and meron left in the grass...

Still, I will spare some time for the next EST-challenge: make a creation with the theme 'summer'! (while serving myself an iced glass of rose)....
enjoy my newest creations, some in my shop, some for a special order (I will blog about it later...)

pouches with a little help

Finally a new package for my necklaces: pouches. I used linen of old tableclothes and a fabric hydrangea flower in the colors of my shop! I am not that good in stitching, but with a little help of my mother...
One is already on his way to australia!(Whit a necklace in, of course)
(I also wrap bubbles around it for more protection)

The purple Challenge of The European Street Team is still going on,

It took some time, I know, but I've been busy with so many things.

So these are the winners: (as you already noticed on the pictures :-)

Congrats girls and I hope you enjoy my creations.
And thanks so much, everyone, for giving a comment!
Don't be sad, still one winner to pick on friday, and I'll add one of my new notebooks I made with the stitched birds. So...take a little peek on this blog on friday!

quest

Before I announce the winners of my blog-give-away, I want to show some pictures of my work from a while ago, winter 2008.
I like creating with different materials, I like color, but also earthy shades, I like vintage ribbon and fabric, I like copper and silver, vintage books,...
There is so much I am not tempted by.... I can't make a choice...
so I try out a lot of things, it's all part of my creative search, some of these creations are in my shop, some of them you see here for he first time...

fabric scraps

in prachtige kleurjes.
Yesterday I went to the sales in Ghent, I bought a huge pile of fabric tableclothes, I just could not resist, the linen was 70% off!!!
I have many plans with them:
- stitching little pouches for my necklaces (since the boxes are so expensive to ship)
- hardening the linen with the technic I learnd at the vuurkarf, to use them as bookcovers.
- I got the inspiration to draw little birds and stiched them on a piece of fabric, maybe I can make brooches out of them or use them on cards or journalcovers, don't know yet!
The only thing I don't have now is time....
