I need a cuppa....

From today on I join the 'shopping list saturday'.

Charlotte from Fancypicnic started the 'shopping list saturday' because it is sometimes so hard to get a treasury on Etsy. This shopping list is a great way to show cool finds and discover new shops! The list of all the participants is on Fancypicnics blog. (do browse them to find cool creations!)

So here we go with the first one: as you see, all I could think about this morning was a cup of tea (I needed it desperately after a bad night with kids awakening)

I just knew it would become an addiction, I love making the mosaics, and it's a great way to discover the work of other artists and share them with you!

Romantic walk in the garden

Spring is really in the air, we had a few bright sunny days (although it's still cold outside),

I made some new fresh necklaces, they have a bit a romantic touch, don't know why,

maybe it's the time of the year? (or month :-) and guess what: the butterfly already sold!

I discovered an amazing tool: Bighugelabs, I love it, now I can make my own mosaics and treasuries! (thanks Art and Jane) I know for sure this willbecome a new addiction :-(

Klein berichtje aan mijn Nederladstalige blog-lezers. Soms post ik , uit tijdsgebrek, alleen in het Engels, sorry daarvoor, mijn excuses ook voor de foutjes die soms in mijn Engelse teksten binnensluipen. Ik ben nu eenmaal geen nativewriter , maar ik doe mijn best :-))))

Did you notice yet that some birds have landed in my creative garden?

a sunny Valentine!

Valentines day was a bright sunny day, the kids enjoyed playing outside and even wanted to organise a picnic (with cookies) on a blanket :-) don't know why they needed an umbrella :-)))

I could escape for some supply shopping in Ghent (there where sales at sjamma, they sold the stock of the fairtrade fabricsand , I could not resist and bought some linen and silk in the most beautiful colors (as you see on the picture below).... Can't wait to create with it!

On this beautiful sunny day mummy could take lots of pics of new brooches and creations!

and our (new installed) Solar Panels also took profit from the sun! Love was in the air!

My lucky day

From now on friday 13th is my lucky day!!

My 'here comes the sun' necklace was on FP (and it sold :-)

I sold lots of brooches!!
-I was driving without fastened belts (and the police stopped my car) but they didn't give me a fine!!! (I promised never to drive without fastened belts again :-))

- The cupboard I ordered two weeks ago was delivered and it looks so beautiful in my workroom (still I don't show you my workdesk behind the cupboard, that's for another time :-)) On Heli's blog you can see which cupboard I had before)

- I had a screening, it was not painfull at all and the doctor declared me healthy as a fish!

and today it's a very sunny (almost spring) day and I could take pics of my new brooches.
