playing with stamps

Lately I've been playing with little stamps. Throughout the years I collected lots of stamps, and I thought it was time to finally do something with them! Oh, if I had the time I would like to experiment much more.

For a while now I've been admiring two stamping artists on Etsy: Leililaloo and Lapomme , check out their shops and blogs , they make beautiful creations by the use of handmade stamps on fabric.

I made some tags and embellishments for my packaging.

The little flower stamps are a set, it's a french edition, in fact I bought the for the kids, but I ended up using them too! the possiblilities are endless with these stamps, as you see I use them for making cars and pimping my jewelry boxes.

I recently bought also some clear stamps, a kind of plastic stamp that can be reused, with these curly letters you can form any word you wish.

The big wooden stamps are from India . I bought them in the local Fair Trade shop, the sellers asked me what I was going to do with it, well I had no idea, I just had to buy it -). and now it's here, just being decorative.

Haven't had much time this weekend, spend sunday afternoon at my parents in law :-)
When I came home I felt the urge to do something creative , or at least to spend some time on Etsy, mmmm, what a relief....

So I enjoyed making this mosaic, it features my EST challenge entries.

The EST challenge was this time hosted by a lovely friend of mine: Veerle from Nevousinstallezpas. Veerle opened her Etsy shop a few weeks ago, but I know her some time longer.
I met Veerle online. funny Story. I was browsing on internet and tagged with the word Flamenco. My Ethiopean daughter has Flamenco classes and maybe I was looking for shoes or a dress. But I found a flamenco ring, made by Veerle! With the ring I found her blog and website, a while later I followed a crochet course (with Veerle as a teacher) at the Miat museum in Ghent .

Since then we have met several times in real life and we have a lot of creative plans together.
you'll see :-))))
The brooch and the necklace are available in my shop
The beautiful painting is an artwork of Lindstromcommac
The funky illustration Mybirdofhappiness is made by johnwgolden

I need a cuppa....

From today on I join the 'shopping list saturday'.

Charlotte from Fancypicnic started the 'shopping list saturday' because it is sometimes so hard to get a treasury on Etsy. This shopping list is a great way to show cool finds and discover new shops! The list of all the participants is on Fancypicnics blog. (do browse them to find cool creations!)

So here we go with the first one: as you see, all I could think about this morning was a cup of tea (I needed it desperately after a bad night with kids awakening)
Want more? Please look at the right sidebar of Charlotte's blog for a list of other blogs who participate in this blogging meme!

My Keycolors

I just knew it would become an addiction, I love making the mosaics, and it's a great way to discover the work of other artists and share them with you!
Two brand new creations in my favorite colors.
Turquoise combines so good with the coral red, well, that's my opinion!
The ring is available in my shop!
Discover also the outstanding work of the following artists:
The keys to the Winery is a photograph by Honeytree.

Romantic walk in the garden

Spring is really in the air, we had a few bright sunny days (although it's still cold outside),
I made some new fresh necklaces, they have a bit a romantic touch, don't know why,
maybe it's the time of the year? (or month :-) and guess what: the butterfly already sold!

I discovered an amazing tool: Bighugelabs, I love it, now I can make my own mosaics and treasuries! (thanks Art and Jane) I know for sure this willbecome a new addiction :-(
