Inspired by a movie
The last movie I saw was 'Slumdog Millionaire':A Mumbai teen who grew up in the slums, becomes a contestant on the Indian version of "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?" He is arrested under suspicion of cheating, and while being interrogated, events from his life history are shown which explain why he knows the answers. It's a movie that gives you a real happy feeling because it has a happy end: A poor boy becomes rich and meets the love of his life, the bad guys are death or punished....the Bollywood Dance at the end of the movie is hilarious.
It is a brilliant movie and it has been awarded in Hollywood with 8 oscars!!!
But when I left the cinema I had this thought: "how can these oscars ever change the faith of millions of Indian people living in poverty and without any expectation on a better future,...."

My shopping list is all about teenagers, ...This afternoon I have to attend the Holy Communion Feast of my sisters eldest daughter Marie.
She is twelve. So I've been looking for presents that she would like to get. My eldest daughter, Maia , is almost twelve too. So I let me inspire by the things she has on her wishlist!
enjoy!

My creative workspace has the color Verdigris
I am so much into Verdigris lately, I could paint everything into Verdigris! :-)(Verdigris creatures in Copenhagen)
(find my new verdigris creations in my shop)
But what exactly is Verdigris?: Verdigris is the common name for the green coating or patina formed when copper, brass or bronze is weathered and exposed to air or seawater over a period of time. The name Verdigris comes from the Middle English vertegrez, from the Old French verte grez, an alteration of vert-de-Grèce ("green of Greece"). The modern French spelling of this word is vert-de-gris. Since it was used as a pigment in paintings and other art objects (as green color), it was required by artists in Greece. (Notice that my Verdigris is a bit more turquoise then green)
