Magic baking pearls

a few days ago,
artmind
surprised me
with her magic baking pearls!

the picture
above
proves it

(baking pearls can be used for blind baking. When you use puff pastry for a pie, it's best to pre-bake the dough beforehand. You just place a baking sheet on top of the pastry and then add weight to it.)

these pearls are very usefull!
but I realise
I forgot the baking sheet! :-)

A pie a week

mmmmm,
I really love this pie,
and what's more,
my kids too,
and that is the most important,
because
believe me,
cooking for (my)kids
is not easy!

Pie with leak and North Sea Shrimps (taart met prei en noordzeegarnalen)

Make a mixture of the cheese, the eggs, cream and shrimps and baked leak
pour this mixture on the prebaked dough.

Nostalgia

amazing find at the thriftshop!
cute little books
from Maya de Bij...

hm
makes me sentimental and nostalgic
childhood memories pop up....

so I took my scissors
cutted perfect rounds
measured them into silver plated medaillons
covered them with a strong resin
and pimped them with flowers(what else for a bee?)

result:
4 very sweet long Maya necklaces

and now available at Earthlings!

limited edition, that is for sure!
