My creative workspace: autumn colored!

Ive been working on some new earrings, in deep warm colorshades, they look a bit etnic to me, especially the assymetric ones. And my challenge pieces are there too, can you guess whos work I was inspired by to make these?

I made some new necklaces too, in deep warm rich colors, autumn is in my heart and in my fingers, even the sunlight in my photographs becomes more orange! How I love this season with it's rich colortones!
these necklaces are already in my shop;-)

Work in progress.....

Well, I already matched together the colors, (maybe one of the most fun parts of the job!!) But I am afraid I will not have the time this week to finish these necklaces to be.... I am busy preparing for the Fair in Bruges: Marché Bricolé.

A walk in the Woods - Happy Flickr favs

1. shop update, 2. heat-set-ginko still wet, 3. Untitled, 4. American Beautyberries

I feel no shame, I feel pride!
these were the 'historical' :-) words my husband spoke when my third daughter (With downsyndrome) was born. That's what I feel too, seeing these lovely pictures of my happy bunch of kids. :-)
Our walk in the woods last sunday inspired me to make this Flickr mosaic above!

Monday Moodboard misty

Just came back from bringing kids to school. We had the chance to go by bike almost every day in September! Today was the first misty day, you know, when you bike, then your hair gets wet and there is no rain!
This foggy morning inspired me for this white list of beauties of my European Team members.

Leather ladies...

I've been working on some new designs lately, with the leather scraps,
I like them a lot :-)
I found some lovely leather, very soft and easy to cut, I do have a love for cutting, it seems (remember the cutted paper tea- and coffeepots?)

I have ideas for other shapes of flowers, so more designs will come!
I combined with silver chain and silver finished findings.
And soon, I hope to make the silver findings myself, as I am attending silver smith classes!
Some of these 'leather ladies' are already in my shop.

and for my Belgian readers:

How to recycle my leather scraps - My creative workspace

What is on my desk today?

- a pile of leather scraps
- a pair of scissors

Remember my repurposed leather flowers?
I had the feeling I had to pick up this design again, I ordered some leather scraps in new colors and started to cut.

I will take these new designs to a fair I will attend on the 4th of october in Bruges: Marché Bricolé
But they wil be soon available inmy Etsy shop too!
