long or short?

Lately I have been working on new fruity textile necklaces (part of them are custom orders)
I am always doubting about the lenght, that is why I often chose for making adjustable necklaces.
I thought it was fun to do a little survey about this. Just because :-)

Look what I won!

It does not happen much, but if it happens that I win a giveaway, it makes me jump in the air !
This time I won the give-away of my dear EST friend from Finland Karuski. I chose a beautiful pair of vintage earstuds, from her shop.
They arrived last week, so wonderfully packed! Minna also spoiled me with a beautiful card, a matching hairpin and a sweet Birdie Key chain!!
Thanks so much Minna, it's always a treat to recieve your packages!

look what I found :-)

I found these lovely Dutch vintage wooden playblocks at the local thriftshop,
I can't find out how it should be played, but some of the illustrations are real cute!
And so funny the makers could not think of an illustration for the letter Q :-)


I thought they would be nice to be repurposed as big bold brooches,
what do you think?
I decided to keep the tiger! :-)

I woke up this morning with loads of energy!
I haven't slept so good as this night, since a long time, maybe this is the result from my running sports I picked up 3 weeks ago and the combination with a healthy diet.
Yes, I banned the chocolate for one week now, (I was really kind of addicted!) and I feel so fresh as an apple now! Way to go :-)

I am back :-)

My blog looks pretty abandoned this week.
In fact I had a incredible busy week.
All sorts of things...
- working on custom order
- hosting 'real life' customers in my little shop (my atelier)
- preparing our weekend to Amsterdam
- continuing my running schedule (5 km , 3 times a week)
- teacher appointments, doctor appointments, therapy appointments...
- preparing yummie meals for visitors
- lots of paper and billing stuff (bwaark!):-(
- making packages ready to get shipped

and so much more...

I am so sorry I had not the energy left to keep my blog alive,
but from today I am back again, despite the fact that I am home alone with the kids this week (Mister hubby is off to Germany),
well, I'll do my best :-)

* I found this cute little basket in the thrifting shop yesterday, lovely!
