sunny days

beautiful weather ,
as this is so rare these days, we try to enjoy a lot!
eating outside
yummie salads and ice cream
little bike rides with the kids
and me playing with water and soap!

As I am running out of cat brooches,
it's time to make some more,
Because I want to take a bunch of them to the Amsterdam Fair 6th of june
they are lightweight, so they will keep me company on the train to A'dam.

Find some of my collection in my Etsy shop
Mijn Kattebroches vind je in mijn shop maar nu ook op Earthlings (als je liever in Euro's aankoopt)

my creative workspace

Today I am preparing for my booth on the flea-market in my home town.
Each year there is a very big flea market with more then 1000 visitors.
This year I decided to do a try out with a little booth on this market, as I have lots of vintage inspired and repurposed jewelry, maybe there is a public out there for my creations, we'll see...

So I have been working on these:

unbelievable how many flowers I can cut out of an ugly bag! Remember that ugly bag?

and Rings...

some new pairs in my Japanese Garden paper collection
(find some of them here in my shop.)

lots of cute vintage fabric earstuds in my Picnic collection

Do you come over?

Secret Swap

the nicest ecological packaging ever!
Vintage wall paper, paper scrap butteflies and cute stamps...
I keep the packaging, just too nice to throw away!

A beautiful clutch in Petrol blue and merlot red with an amazing ochre handmade flower on it! I am impressed!
(this picture does not good to the beautiful colors of the clutch)

Such a cute and original brooches for my kids (but will wear them too as I am a brooch-addict) The Elk is my fav,....or is it the floral bear!! I love them!

My Secret Swap arrived!
Again, I have been spoiled! (and so are my kids!)
All the way from Finland came a beautiful package!
I like the way Minna makes work of her packages, all recycled stuff and yet so beautiful and so Karuski!

If you did not know her work, go discover Karuski's Etsy shop
Or follow her creative life on her blog.

thanks so much Minna!!!
Hugs and kisses all the way from Belgium!
