kreeg al een paar staaltjes stof
van Natalie,
om er een gepaste
collectie halsssnoeren
en oorhangertjes bij te maken

vanaf 18 februari ligt haar collectie in de winkel!

Een tijdje geleden
vond ik een schat aan oude knoopjes
opeen marktje in Gent
echt waanzinnig mooie kleinoodjes
in een schattig vintage speldendoosje
en aangezien
mijn naaikunsten
te wensen overlaten
verwerkte ik ze tot oorknopjes...
voor u :-)

I found this cute vintage box
filled with beautiful little vintage buttons
on a flea market
lately.
Unfortunately I am not good in sewing
so I used these
little sweeties
for making earstuds :-)

toch even
de tijd gehad!
om mijn ring van de week te maken
opnieuw in zilver

ik dook
in mijn colletie
'strandvondsten'
hoofdzakelijk steentjes en glas
van de stranden van Noord Frankrijk

het werd dus een oefening
op een klauwzetting
dit lukte vrij aardig :)



een simpel steentje,
een vondeling
op een pied de stalletje

after a busy week
I found some time
to make my RING A WEEK

I decided this time
to exercice
a claw setting ring

I gathered lots of little stones
through the years
mostly
from the coast of Northern France

just simple stones
not perfect , not precious,
but hey
I love simple things!

the setting went
very well
i hammered the ring a bit
to give it a rough look
I thibnk
it came out
very nice!

the end of a busy week and time for Saturday Shopping

drukke week gehad
weinig slaap
en iedereen hier
had me constant nodig
nefast voor het creatief leven!
(en al helemaal geen tijd om te bloggen)

ik ben er wel
in geslaagd
een aantal bestellingen af te werken
en op vrijdag
toch nog een paar nieuwe dingen gemaakt
met mooie vintage Japanse kralen en knoopjes
die al een tijdje naar mij aan het lonken waren.

to finish some orders
and also take some pictures
of new creations
(those vintage japanese beads have been eyeing me for a long time, I am glad I finally found the time to create with them)
