mocht ik koken
voor een internationaal gezelschap
van dierentuin mensen

toen ze arriveerden
hadden ze
allemaal
merkwaardige cadeautjes mee
voor de gastvrouw...
ik geloof dat Mr Fleurfatale hen getipt had ...

(een schatje toch, die vent van mij :-)


A while ago,
I had
to prepare a dinner
for some collegues of my husband

They brought me some nice presents,
I have the strong feeling they got a tip from my husband! (isn't he the best?!)

RAW Ring -A-Week 4

mijn 4de RAW ring
rolt van de persen :-)

Mijn RAW ontwerp vorige week schoot erbij in
ik was te druk bezig met het verzorgen van zieke kindjes ;-)

deze ring is
nog niet helemaal af
op het japans papier moet nog een laagje hars,
maar da's voor morgen :-)

hm
een hangertje in hetzelfde design
zou ook niet misstaan....

wat denk je?

one
last week
but i can't blame myself
(I was busy caring for my sick kids)
but here is another Ring-a-week

this time
I made a bezel ring
for a little piece of Japanese Paper
I stil have to add the resin
to make it water resistant,
but I wanted to show the pictures today
I'll show you the resined piece a bit later.

This design would look nice as a pendant too,
don't you think?

wrap it up! deze had je nog te goed:

-,papieren onderleggers van bij Resto Coco,
"een super kindervriendelijk restaurant"

- stoffen pin van Hummingbird & Bumblebee
(een Belgisch label met wondermooie sjaals en handtassen)

- limoenkleurig papieren lint van de markt


ik kom zo op de leeftijd
dat ik
van die trekjes begin te vertonen....
"schaamtelijk! mama!!"
fluisteren mijn
kinderen dan;

hm,
lekker gaan eten
en dan de papieren onderleggers
(die anders toch voor
de vuinisbak bestemd zijn)
meenemen naar huis :-)
wie doet mij na ;-)


wel netjes eten natuurlijk!

is het geesteskindje van twee ondernemende West Vlaamse madammen,
ze brengen
een mooie collectie van jonge (onbekende) ontwerpers.
achteraan in de winkel is er een gezellige vintage bar
waar je met een bakje koffie je krant kunt lezen!
tof!
meer van dat!

op hun blog kan je een fragment zien uit Vlaanderen Vakantieland
en geven de twee dames in onvervalst Brugs uitleg bij hun initiatief!


maar ook bij Earthlings Kudzu (in Brugge) kan je nog altijd
de ecologische geïnspirerde collecties vinden
zoals mijn knopen oorknopjes en bloemenbroches!
