What the postman brought us....

I am always, always in tears when we get a letter from the biological mother of my Vietnamese daughter Maia Dinh Thi Phuong.
Really, I do have a bound with this mother of my first child!
I am touched by the pictures: she looks so good like her mother, my sweet eldest child! It convinces me again that one can never ever deny the background and roots of your adopted child.

Inderdaad, heel mooi dat jullie op één of andere manier contact kunnen houden... O zo belangrijk ook!

You are doing a great service to your daughter by giving her the chance to know where she comes from. She will always know she belongs to you, because you were brave enough to let her see her roots!

It must be hard for Maia and confusing? But you can give her a better future which I'm sure she appreciate!

Oh my! My oldest daughter Maia(10) also was born in Vietnam. How wonderful that you have that connection.I wish so much that we had even one picture, would mean so much. Also have to say I love your work. I have just started making polymer beads and visited your site for inspiration as I've been learning a bit about jewelry design.
