I am preparing for the fair next sunday
(Hasselt, handmadeinbelgium)

you really don't want to see my workspace
it's a complete mess!

But well, there is a little coin
that looks a bit tidy!
I love the hand that holds my Frida Choker!


I have been working on New Frida necklaces and chokers,
and especially for the fair I made some nice sets! (earrings+ necklace)





I also take my silverwork to the fair
I made a bunch of rings and necklaces
(and so, I ruined my nails and hands :-(


and of course I take all my other stuff, i made lots of new earrings too!

so why don't you come over ?
and spoil yourself with some flowering jewelry for your summer outfit!

dat wordt heel veel nieuws voor de komende marktjes dus!

voor een lieve dame
met een mooi kleedje :-)

De lente-zomercollectie
van Nathalie Engels
wordt weer onweerstaanbaar!

en ik
kreeg al een paar staaltjes stof
van Natalie,
om er een gepaste
collectie halsssnoeren
en oorhangertjes bij te maken

vanaf 18 februari ligt haar collectie in de winkel!

I ran completely
out of stock
of my Japanese Garden earrings
so I made a new bunch of them


I would appreciate it much

Ben je in de buurt, dan moet je er echt eens passeren, Hilde verkoopt er haar prachtige handgemaakte lederen tassen en creaties uit japans papier naast een zorgvuldige selectie van andere handgemaakte accessoires.

I never make sets...
maybe because I don't wear sets myself...
but sets are wanted a lot,
so don't worry,
if you like a certain necklace in my shop,
do'nt hesitate to ask for a matching pair of earrings
I'll be happy to make them for you!

ik ben geen setjes madam,
weet niet,
misschien omdat ik zelf geen setjes draag,
het wordt nochtans veel gevraagd,

en eigenlijk vindt ik het dan best wel leuk
om iets gepast te maken!
dus:
zie je een leuke halsketting in mijn shop,
ik maak op vraag graag een paar oorhangers erbij!

My thursday has been filled
with
lots of stuff
too pity
it was nothing creative....
well,
only urgent necessary things...

meeting with the teachers and therapists of Mies
lots of boring paperwork
making packages
answering mails

luckily I had a break and lunched with mr Hubby :-)

today, I show you
a glimpse
of some things
that lay waiting to be finished

is all about
preparing my booth
for the next fair I attend


A while ago
I found this
great tutorial
on the blog
of an EST friend.

A brilliant idea to display
the button rings I made
lately!


I used:
- some cheap isolation tubes
(the smallest ones)
- a shelf from the ikea molger series
I once bought to hang in the bathroom, but now it's destiny changed (lol!)
- an old white blanket

I know...
I should have ironed
the blanket parts
but well
I am not a good housewife I guess , LOL!

I ordered som new
Japanese Washi tape
to
Pimp my jewelry boxes

Japanese tape
is the best invention
since years!
(it's made of rice paper)
I am fond of it ;-)
There are so many things
one might do with this beautiful tape.
Just stroll around
in the blogosphere
and you'll find
a thousand ideas
of what you can do with it!
sometimes
crafters use an overload of tape.
I love
to use it very sparingly,
and the result is awesome!
