my weekend

ok
Rock Werchter was the place to be
this weekend...

well, I don't know if I should survive
that lots of people...

too bad
there were lots of my fav groups on stage
(Editors, Faithless, Gomez, Arcade Fire,...)

But I do had a creative, fun and relaxing weekend!
well..
On Saturday morning I attended an interesting course at jewelry designer Lotte Demey in Antwerp,
remember the cabochons I made at Mitsy's at the craftparty?
On saturday Eve , I was in good company to visit the expostion of Jewelry designer Lore Van Keer in the art gallery of Goldsmith Ingrid Adriaenssens in Gent.
and sunday was a family-friends day with BBQ and water-fun :-)

remember the cabochons I made back at Mitsy's?

I will use them in a claw setting ring, I am working on at Lotte's,
not finished yet,...

but I can show you 2 sterling silver rings that I just finished:
exercices on sawing, filing and soldering,
my own designs. :-) I like them!

I am really very curious to see the finished claw-setting rings with the porcelain cabochons!!!

Love

I'm loving the rounds too! Super nice work, Greet! And so fun to see the work in progress on your 'porcelain' ring. It's going to look so super! I'm glad it arrived in time! You'll have lots of work making all those porcelain pieces into jewellery as you were very productive! LOL :)
