Sometimes you need a little help to get your workplace organised, and I think I got some help by bying a sweet needlebook from my lovely EST friend Ravenhill.
(check out her lovely shop and blog). (in the last pic you see how messy I organised my needles are)
The needlebook came to me beautiful packaged (look at the little fabric heart tag and the cute bakers twine she used, just lovely!) look how it matches perfectly with the crochet needle case I bought on Etsy a while ago!
A few days ago I found a white (imitation) leather bag in the vintage shop , I did not like the design of the bag (in fact it's a real ugly one!!) but I liked the color (white-ivory) and texture.
I found the bag so ugly that I could not wait to put my scissors in it!
I hope it turns out great because I love recycling and repurposing!............ to be continued!
Hop over to Kootoyoo's blog to see some other workspaces!
and remember you can still enter my give-away :-))

I love the idea of using old ugly bags to make beautiful things! I love the flowers you made too, how creative!
Emily's needlebook is sweet, a nice purchase! Also the bag's material is perfect for your jewelry:)

Hahaha, 'can't wait to put the scissors in it' !!!!
You made me laugh out loud - now that's the spirit of a real creative brain! :) Your creative space looks super & I think I should get a needlebook too - my needles look as disorganised as yours! :)
Impressive, firstly of the lovely needlebook from Raven and then the ugly vintage handbag makeover. It is marvelous of making good use of recycling. Well done Greet!
Leuk gevonden!

Great way of recycling indeed!
What a fun way to repurpose a not so nice bag :)

I'm going to try upcycling an old handbag into a new handbag over the Easter weekend. If it is successful enough to warrant a picture, I will post about it. And I am glad that you liked the gift. I am going to list the puppets . . . if I can stand to part with them! Check out my cashmere Henry on my blog.

What a great result!
Raven's needle book isa really pretty! LOL, I am also a "bag destroyer" and I can completely relate to the "can't wait to put my scissors in it" phrase. The bag turned out to be really lovely flowers!
great idea ! I love recyling too.
