Shopping Saturday

My saturday:
- running around to get the 4 kids to sport, dance, music lessons..
- an interesting workshop at Lotte Demey's
- visiting an outlet store to find the perfect worktable for my atelier
- some grocery shopping to survive the weekend
finally a glass of white wine with a pesto toast
and off to bed early!

I lacked too much sleep lately!

textile jewelry

it's been a while since I have been working on my textile jewelry.
so it made me smile
when a sweet lady asked me
to make this one for her.

and really,
I do love
the photographing part
of the job too!


- handfelted olive pebbles
- handmade silk beads (from a repurposed tie)
- crocheted cotton ball
- Ethiopean silver beads
- handcolored and torn silk ribbon

there are not that much textiles in my shop right now,
but you can browse my sold items (or my Flickr Gallery),
if you like a design,
just ask me,
maybe I can another one in the same style!

my creative worskspace: sets

I never make sets...
maybe because I don't wear sets myself...
but sets are wanted a lot,
so don't worry,
if you like a certain necklace in my shop,
do'nt hesitate to ask for a matching pair of earrings
I'll be happy to make them for you!

ik ben geen setjes madam,
weet niet,
misschien omdat ik zelf geen setjes draag,
het wordt nochtans veel gevraagd,

en eigenlijk vindt ik het dan best wel leuk
om iets gepast te maken!
dus:
zie je een leuke halsketting in mijn shop,
ik maak op vraag graag een paar oorhangers erbij!

De tijd vliegt
mijn kleinste, Briek is er intussen al 6!
en reken maar dat het hier dikwijls huisje vol is ;-)

Het gedichtje vind ik nog steeds bijzonder mooi,
geschreven toen ik nog in volle verwerkingsfase zat van Miesjes 'downsyndroom'.

Time flies,
my youngest is 6 now!
I still love the birthcard I made for him!

Sorry voor de stilte op mijn blog
ik heb het razend druk
want
dit weekend
staat Fleurfatale
op de Bazar
geschenkenbeurs van de Steinerschool in Gent
(op zaterdag ben ik er pas vanaf 12 uur)


ik had op StielenStijl heel veel bestellingen
voor de kuipjesringen (op maat)
t'is hier dus zagen, vijlen , kloppen en boren geblazen ;-)

en ik vond nog heel even de tijd om mijn shop up te daten met een nieuw Paar Frida oorhangers...

I am busy
preparing my next fair in Gent
and working on lots of orders for my cup rings.

when these orders are finished I will list the cuprings in my shop,
so that anyone who likes them, can order !
